Guruji's teachings
Guruji explains the nyasa that covers the whole body, and the single verse that gathers many nyasas into one.

The Mūla Mantra Nyāsa
This most important Mūla Mantra Nyāsa takes you over your entire body. The idea is that you are trying to map your entire body into the brain. Your entire brain is energized in this process.
Ka is the Sahasrāra, E is the yoni; I is the heart; La and Hrīṁ are the two eyes. Ha is the third eye; Sa and Ka are the two ears; Ha is the tongue and La and Hrīṁ are the arms. Sa is the back and Ka and La are your right and left thighs, and Hrīṁ is your navel.
So when you move your awareness to all these different parts of your body placing the seed letters there, then that accesses your entire body and therefore your entire brain. This is called the Mūla Mantra Nyāsa. This is the most important way of doing the nyāsa. The other ways as I have explained before for gaining icchā śakti, jñāna śakti and kriyā śakti is by focusing your awareness in the face, the breasts or in the yoni. It is the adoration of these aspects, of creativity, of nourishment and of knowledge.
Mahā Śodha Nyāsa
The next step in the pūjā is the recitation of the mantra:
Gaṇeśa graha nakṣatra, yoginī rāśi rūpiṇīm,
Devīṁ mantra-mayīṁ naumi, mātṛkā-pīṭha-rūpiṇīm.All forms of Gaṇeśa, graha are the nine planets; nakṣatra the stars, the constellations; yoginīs — there are sixty-four crores of yoginīs, divine beings; rāśi the zodiacal signs; rūpiṇī — she has all these forms because she is cosmic awareness. Devīm — this Devī, who is in the form of the sounds, the mantras, the vibrations of the world; naumi — I worship; mātṛkā-pīṭha — the letters of the Sanskrit alphabet which have seats all over your body; in all these places she resides. She resides in the brain and in every part of your body. Not only does she reside in your body, she resides in all the geographical areas where the parts of her body have fallen (the 51 Śakti Pīṭhas). The awarenesses flowing in the cosmos, in yourself in the microcosmos are represented.
This stanza summarizes all the nyāsas corresponding to the Gaṇeśa nyāsa, the graha nyāsa, the nakṣatra nyāsa, the yoginī nyāsa, rāśi nyāsa, Devī nyāsa, mantra nyāsa, mātṛkā nyāsa — all these nyāsas are combined in this stanza. And Paraśurāma has placed all these things into one complete stanza. Now people expand these things into an infinite number of nyāsas. They say that through the nyāsas alone you can find realization.

The Moola Mantra Nyasa is the nyasa that covers the whole body. You move your attention to each place in turn, and the body is mapped into the brain.
The Maha Shodha Nyasa is a verse that sums up many other nyasas. In Kaula view the Goddess is the stars and planets outside and the letters and centers inside. The outer and the inner are one.
Guruji points out that people expand these steps without end. The teaching here is to hold the essence in one verse. Parts of the text speak plainly about the body. They are lineage teaching, not a how-to. Learn this with a guru.
Guruji calls it the most important nyasa. It places the seed letters of the mantra on parts of the body so that your awareness covers the whole body.
Guruji says that when you move awareness to each part of the body, you access the whole body and so the whole brain. The whole brain is energized in the process.
It is the next step in the puja. You say one verse that brings together the Ganesha, planet, star, yogini, zodiac, Devi, mantra and matruka nyasas.
Guruji explains that it names the Goddess as all forms of Ganesha, the nine planets, the stars, the yoginis and the zodiac signs. She is the sounds and the letters of Sanskrit seated all over your body.
Guruji says Parashurama placed all these nyasas into one complete stanza. He notes that others expand them into an infinite number.
