Guruji's teachings
A short note from Guruji on how he wants to be remembered, and how he saw the end of life in the body.
From the teachings of Sri Amritananda Natha Saraswati (Guruji). Post title: "My attitude towards life". Dated 26 April 2016. Posted on Guruji's blog by Vira Chandra. Originally published at amritananda-natha-saraswati.blogspot.com.
I want people to celebrate when I go, not to cry. I want people to be happy. When your integration with the body is broken, you become one with nature. This is something to be celebrated. Why cry over it. That's my attitude towards life

Kaula teaching sees the body as a form of the Mother. At the end of life the body goes back to nature, the five elements it came from. Guruji calls this a time for joy and not for grief.
This does not mean the loss is small. It means love does not have to turn into fear. A student can keep Guruji in mind with a lamp, a name of the Mother, or a few quiet minutes.
Guruji attained mahasamadhi in October 2015. His words remain, and Guru Amma Annapurnamba guides the lineage today.
He said he wanted people to celebrate when he goes and not to cry. He wanted people to be happy.
Guruji says that when your integration with the body is broken, you become one with nature.
He saw becoming one with nature as something to celebrate. He asks, why cry over it.
The note gives his dates as 26 September 1934 to 10 October 2015. He attained mahasamadhi in October 2015.
