Reflections
This path was never only about personal liberation, at least not for the teachers I follow.
It would be easy to think a tradition built around inner awakening only cares about the inside of your own head. That has never matched what I have actually read from the teachers I follow.
Guruji wrote openly about wanting clean drinking water for everyone, comfortable homes cooled and heated by the sun, light for a child to study by after dark, and a world where the greenery we depend on is not destroyed for short term gain. None of that sounds like someone chasing private enlightenment and ignoring everyone else.
The reasoning behind it is simple, even if the goals are big. If love and wisdom are real, they should show up in how we treat the people and the planet around us, not just in how calm we feel sitting alone in meditation.
I hold something similar, on a much smaller scale. Guidance and practice matter to me, but so does the ordinary stuff: whether the people I talk to can actually pay their bills, sleep at night, and feel less alone in their body. Moksha is the horizon. It is not an excuse to stop caring about today.
If something in this piece landed for you, the best next step is a short private conversation.
