Guruji's teachings
Six questions from students, each answered by Guruji in a line or two. They cover mantra healing, offerings, Vedic and Tantric mantras, and kundalini.
From the teachings of Sri Amritananda Natha Saraswati (Guruji). Original post: "Questions on Devī, Mantra, Healing, and Kuṇḍalinī: Guruji’s Responses", 25 April 2016, shared on Guruji's blog by Vira Chandra. Originally published at amritananda-natha-saraswati.blogspot.com.
Q: When we consider and worship Devī as our Divine Mother (Śrī Mātre Namaḥ), is it proper to ask the Devī “can I see you nude,” “can I place my seed in you,” etc., by showing the Daśamudrās?
Guruji: Aren’t the baby and mother nude when birthing or feeding the baby? Don’t confuse nudity with impurity.
Q (second one): When everything belongs to the creator, God or Goddess, what is that we or I offer something to Him/Her during pūjās/tarpaṇams? Is it like taking money from my father and buying a gift for him?
Guruji: It is like buying a gift to yourself. The best gift is to remember your identity with the creator/creatrix.
Q: Prāṇapratiṣṭhā mantra—while doing the healing, do you keep repeating the mantra or just say it once?
Guruji: Keep repeating till you feel the passing of energy.
Q: I would like to know other healing mantras. Presently I do the healing by invoking the Goddess within me, and once I feel the surge of golden energy, I start the healing.
Guruji: All mantras can be healing. Intention drives the elemental.
Q: The Vedic and Tantric mantra of Mahāgaṇapati—when do you say each of them? Also, what is the special quality of each?
Guruji: Tantric mantras are usually shorter. Vedic mantras don’t generally need a guru. Tantric mantras derive power from a living guru.
Q: Few days back, just before meeting you, I heard a strange humming sound around my inner ears. I was in a very calm state at that time. I was scared and had to come out to a noisy area to get rid of that sound. I did not understand what that was. Could you please tell me why it happened to me? How should have I handled it?
Guruji: You could have continued with it. Kuṇḍalinī awakening causes many such phenomena. Talk to a competent guru when in doubt.

These answers show how Kaula practice joins inner and outer work. Mantra is the inner work, done with attention and intention. Puja and offerings are the outer work, and Guruji's reply says the offering is really a way to remember who you are.
On the body and nudity, Guruji uses the picture of a mother and her baby to say that the natural body is not impure. This site keeps such topics at the level of ideas. It does not describe practices.
On kundalini, his advice is plain: unusual signs can happen, and a competent guru is the person to ask.
Guruji says all mantras can be healing, because intention drives the elemental.
His answer is to keep repeating it until you feel the passing of energy.
Guruji says Tantric mantras are usually shorter. Vedic mantras do not generally need a guru, while Tantric mantras draw power from a living guru.
He says the person could have continued with it, and that kundalini awakening causes many such phenomena. He adds to talk to a competent guru when in doubt.
Guruji says it is like buying a gift for yourself. The best gift is to remember your identity with the creator.
