Guruji's teachings
A very short note from Guruji. Talk is fine, but practice is better, and you can start small today.
From the teachings of Sri Amritananda Natha Saraswati (Guruji). Post title: "Better to do something". Dated 26 April 2016. Posted on Guruji's blog by Vira Chandra. Originally published at amritananda-natha-saraswati.blogspot.com.
Guruji: There is much to be said regarding spiritual practice – but the question is, to what purpose? It is better do something rather than just discuss endlessly.
So begin your journey to the Goddess today, no matter how feebly. You can add power and depth as you move along.

Many people wait until they feel ready, or read and talk about practice for years. Guruji's note says to start now, in whatever small way you can.
In Kaula practice a beginning can be very simple. Sit quietly for a few minutes, light a lamp, say a name of the Mother, or watch your breath. The deeper forms of worship can come later, as you grow.
Guruji attained mahasamadhi in October 2015. His words remain, and Guru Amma Annapurnamba guides the lineage today.
He says there is much to be said about spiritual practice, but the question is to what purpose. Talking without practice does not take you anywhere.
Yes. Guruji says to begin your journey to the Goddess today, no matter how feebly.
Guruji says you can add power and depth as you move along. The first step is simply to begin.
In this note Guruji does not spell it out. In Kaula teaching it means coming to know the Divine Mother as your own inner life, and in all around you.
